Download & Install iTunes on Windows

In order to be able to detect your iPhone and iPad, FineCam for Windows needs to download and install Apple’s mobile components, which let your computer communicate with your iOS / iPadOS devices.

Typically, if you’ve installed Apple iTunes on your Windows computer, all components will be also installed. If not, you can install the latest version of iTunes for Windows from Apple’s official website.

Check if your PC is running in 64-bit or 32-bit?

If you are not sure about whether your Windows PC is running in 64-bit, here are the steps to follow.:

For Windows 10 and Windows 8:

1. Select the Start button, then select Settings > System > About.
2. At the right, under Device specifications, see System type.

For Windows 7:

1. Click Start.
2. Type system in the Search Programs and Files field, and then click System in the Programs.
3. Do not press ENTER after typing the system. Wait until the search has generated its list.

The operating system appears as follows:

• For a 64-bit version operating system: “64-bit Operating System” appears as the System type under System.
• For a 32-bit version operating system: “32-bit Operating System” appears as the System type under System.
